· Regulates meridian and collaterals: According to the theory of TCM, the meridian and collaterals are the channels that run Qi and Blood, connecting the viscera and the whole body. When the meridians are blocked, Qi and Blood unable to run smoothly, will eventually lead to pain and numbness. Acupuncture can dredge the meridians to achieve the purpose of activating collaterals and relieving pain.

· Harmonize Yin and Yang: From the perspective of TCM, balance of Yin and Yang is the key to maintaining health. The occurrence of diseases is often related to the imbalance of Yin-Yang, acupuncture can achieve the purpose of treating diseases by reconciling Yin and Yang.

· Strengthen Body Resistance and eliminate evil-Qi: TCM believes that occurrence and development of diseases is the process of fighting between the healthy Qi and evil-Qi. Acupuncture can guide the development of disease towards the direction of recovery by strengthening healthy Qi and eliminating evil-Qi.
